Hi Fiona ~  Here's a note from Jeff for you:

Barry and I started out together.  I first met Barry on the set of Halls of Anger back in 1970. Two years later we worked together on a movie called Bad Company. Barry and I got to know each other during these years. We weren’t close, in the sense that we spent a lot of time together when we weren’t working, but during those days, especially the ones spent in Kansas making Bad Company, we did a lot of ‘hang time’.  Barry and I were quite different, which helped with our characters, since they were too.  Barry and I learned to enjoy these differences and celebrate them.  One thing we did have in common was loving the work. Barry was very serious about doing his best. At first this seriousness would come off as arrogance.  But, this apparent arrogance and aloofness through time became transparent and I got to know a sensitive, vulnerable and extremely talented guy who was a joy to know and work with.  I’m glad this website is keeping his memory and work alive.
